This is the end of our 2009/2010 school year. We have so many memories from this past year. It is amazing for me to look back and think about the children who began this year-long journey with me. Children who have made leaps and bounds of progress within one year!  We should all be proud of this group!!!

We have had a great summer at Advantage Preschool.  We enjoyed taking many field trips over the past months, including going to story time at multiple libraries, the Hands-on-Museum, and Jungle Java.  We also had wet, water fun playing in the water table outside, inside, and running through the sprinkler. We look forward to a few more fun trips and water fun before the summer is over! See our Monthly Calendar that was sent home with your child for upcoming events!

We are sad to lose our very first student to Advantage Preschool:  Jia-Jia.  It will be with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to Jia-Jia on her last day in September. She will be attending kindergarten at Lawton Elementary.  We all wish her the very best at her new school and the beginning of her elementary years. I know she will be very successful in all she does!

As we say good-bye to Jia-Jia, we will be welcoming Victoria back. Victoria will be returning and taking over Jia-Jia’s spot in September. She will be joining us Tuesdays through Thursdays.  We are very excited to have her rejoin our preschool family, and I think she is excited too! 

I’m also very excited that I have officially begun the NAFCC Accreditation process. Please let me know of any ways you think I could improve our program.  I’m excited to implement new changes/materials over the year as we build an even better program!
